Grant opportunities
Promote the osteopathic approach to care through AOA-funded research.
Resident physicians, fellows and osteopathic medical students can apply for AOA grant funding to support projects that address one of the AOA’s two research focus areas. Since 2016, the AOA has awarded more than $4 million in grants for osteopathic research.

Fellows and resident physicians can apply for up to $20,000 in funding for 18-month studies.
Medical students can apply for up to $5,000 in funding for a 6- to 12-month study. Studies must be supplemental projects of existing research studies.

MOMA Poster Competition
MOMA is proud to host a poster competition each year at the winter CME meeting for osteopathic trainees at all levels. Students and postdoctoral trainees are encouraged to submit a poster to this competition. Winners are announced and awarded during the CME event.
